This was a colaborative project of Institutions in India riding on ERNET's IPv6 network to the Institutions in European Union over a 2.5 Gbps dedicated connectivity to test out different application and performances on IPv6.

Some of the activities undertaken were

• ERNET     GEANT    GARUDA     (EGEE ) European Grid               
• To promote IPv6 adoption
• Consortium of eight members from Europe and India
• ISABEL - a distributed presentation tool - Tested
• Workshops, training events organized to train users on IPv6
